track limits are ALWAYS hard to enforce during qualifying and sometimes we can only rely on the honesty of racers. I'm not sure what it is like with this track, but sometimes the strong penalties cause more issues as they are TOO strong.

as mentioned previously, if you leave the track and re-enter gaining any sort of advantage, you will be penalised. Especially in T1, if you find yourself all 4 wheels over the line/ripple strip, a quick lift of the throttle will negate any advantage and negate the chance of a future penalty.

This is a social league and we rely on the integrity and honesty of the participants. If you have taken advantage of any track limit excursion, you should not continue and post your fastest lap.

After brief testing the penalties would make no difference.

A Forum by definition is a - a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

On that basis it is a damned good place to discuss issues of importance relating to Rooz Racing and this division in particular. First up lets identify the Elephant in the room. It is fairly obvious from comments and inferences made that there may be some drivers having issues with lag as a result of my Internet connection. Come on guys and girls if there are issues this is where it should be openly discussed in an adult fashion. It is neither Brain Science or Rocket Surgery.

I don't think I can be either more fair or specific than that. If any other drivers are having an issue you should be either raising it here or reporting those issues to Moon or the mods. There are a few issues here I would like to raise and I will be naming names and places. I am not trying to offend and believe it is appropriate to try and address some issues. And anyone has the right of reply.

I have two perfect glitch free replays of the first two races. It would appear the case that if I am having lag issues it does not show up in my replay. Incey made the following observation:

That would appear to be the case as I can not see any issues either when I am driving or in the replay. However the driver experiencing the lag punts will have that on his replay. I have replays showing exactly that – I have had races ruined having been lag punted. Usually along the lines of seeing a car in front leaping forwards backwards sideways straight up and generally with huge amounts of smoke and sparks.

As a result of a few incidents in race two I raised a couple of protests and pm'd the drivers involved the following.

"Hi guys I don't like to do this, but have to warn you that I have lodged a protest against you both. I was taken out by Max in lap one turn one. I was giving the two cars in front that were bumping and grinding and Max nudged the rear corner - mid corner and pushed me wide, then hit again as I was sliding, I went into the grass and lost about 4 places.
Then by Easy in turn one on lap three we had to go either side of a spun car on the straight and it looks like Easy didn't know I was on the outside of him.
I had out qualified you both - and both of you got past in the first incident. I was overtaking Easy when he pushed me off track. That second one put me right off rhythm and I had a spin shortly after swearing in my helmet, having qualified 9th, was 8th into the first corner and last by about lap 4.
I had qualified well and was in pretty good form. After I settled down again my race pace was pretty good and I recovered to eighth by the end. Had those two incidents not happened I would have been a very good chance to have been racing Woolfydaddy for third overall. Which would have gained the most advantage in the results for Div3b. I'm sorry for the pain in the arse but I would have been in with a dam good shot of still leading this division.
I hope you both understand it is nothing personal - I just want the Race Stewards to have a look. I usually don't bother with protests as I am not usually at the pointy end. I don't believe either incident was malicious as I said I don't think Easy saw me and I think Maxs' tap was just the exuberance of the start.
    No hard feelings I hope.

    Cheers - Cyber”.

Protest one against Max was discounted. The protest against Easy was allowed. As a result I received a very terse and rude msg from Easy stating that I had now stuffed up both his races – and that I had lag punted him 5 times at Bathurst. Which was the first I had heard about it. Consequently he also unfriended me on PS

I reviewed that race 1 at Bathurst:

Lap 1 turn one Woolfy hits the back of Sooby spins out knocking Easy into the sandpit and creating a Mellie that involved every other car behind him.

It may be helpful for the mods to reiterate that crashing into other drivers in the first lap could and should be avoided.

Lap 5 turn two – Easy spins unassisted at turn 2. I was in front of Max who in turn was in front of Easy. I was about 200m ahead of Easy.

Lap 11 turn two Easy spins unassisted at turn 2. He was about 300m behind me with no cars between us.

Lap 19 Easy was about 75m behind me going into the last corner – he went in too deep and consequently tapped the wall on the start finish straight.

If he had any issues it should have shown up in his replay. I was only in his proximity on 3 occasions during the entire race, so I can't work out how I punted him 5 times??. Max and I had a brilliant race. It would appear that we have a similar race pace – we spent most of the race dicing for position. If there was such an issue with my connection lagging, I would have expected Max would have seen it also. I do not know who advised Moon that there were lag issues with me. If it was from a few drivers then it is obviously an issue. If it was just from Easy then it is still an issue but it could be the case that the two of us are having connection issues independent of other drivers in the room.

I have personally known Easy for over 5 years. I am both surprised and somewhat saddened by his reaction. He could and should have either raised the lag issue with me, Moon or discussed it openly on the forum. We should be grown up enough to have these discussions openly and without animosity.

I can not be more clear than “I am not here to F@%k up anyone elses' race and would rather be kicked from the room. - If this is an ongoing issue I will bow out.” I have clearly stated that my Internet is not the best. I will not be changing it at present – if it is not good enough for League Racing it is quite simple – I will not do it. Just tell me and I will bow out. I would however appreciate seeing some replay footage depicting the said issues.

If that is the case please provide some footage.

Half-Byte's connection appears to have dropped out and he went off with no other drivers near him. If I was jigging a bit in race 2 was that on track or only in the replay?

Believe it or not Wolf I believe my phone is a phone – I have been quite open about my connection. If it aint good enough I wont race! It is not Rocket Surgery!

I believe that you are correct Zharvs, if as it appears to do the If the system smooths it out it must also put you on the track where you would have otherwise been. As it apparently does in my replays.

The only reason I am leading Div3b is that I have been trying hard. I am not normally at the pointy end. It is however only a game. I enjoy it immensely, I like the challenge it provides and the great racing with other like minded people.

Whether or not I am leading it is still only a game. Provide some replay footage to the room Captain or mods that I am causing problems and I will happily bow out.
    Cheers
    Cyber.

btw cyber, for me, your lag is minimal but it is enough that i can't race under your rear wing. I can probably live with it by staying ahead of you eh!

    @arakasi-
Dam fine work redressing the last lap incident you were involved in, that must have taken a huge amount of patience - good driving there mate. And I am being serious - you made a mistake but did an exemplary job of trying to redress it.

Very disappointed with last nights' effort.
Race 1: qualified 13th with a 52.8?? & gave Mail17 a tap at the end of lap one, redressing put me back to last (15th). Spent the next 16 laps catching up. Tried to overtake Mail17 on lap 21 but came unstuck & didn't have enough time to catch up again.
Race 2: Reverse grid so started on pole with annelorraine 2nd. Got to turn 1 first & fairly smoothly. Could see anne was holding up the rest of the field so tried make the gap as big as possible. Incey managed to pass her around lap 9ish, by then I had about a 5 sec lead. Incey caught me on about lap 12 & the rest soon after. managed to finish 8th.

Didn't see @Cyberstig1 all night so not sure if their was a lag issue there or not. I've got replays saved of all races so far so I'll go through them & the old memorybank & report back on that issue.

    Ditto at disappointed.
Race 1 - got punted off at final hairpin on Lap 5. Expected a redress but nothing came. Could only get back up to 11th. 8-10 were bumper to bumper when I caught Cyber but ran out of laps. Driving at the back was more of a smash up derby unfortunately.
Race 2 - Turned it around in 4th or 5th and stayed at the back.
I'll settle for good quallys this season I think lol

I a guessing Max that you did not see me in the first race as you were last and I was midfield. In race 2 and I was still midfield. I could see you ahead on the last lap. Or do you mean that you just could not see me on track at all due to a connection glitch???

Interesting race. I probably did better than I expected considering some of the qually times ahead of me. First race quallied 4th and made it up to third where I felt settled in, watching turbo follow adro. After a few laps of that turbo did a wiggle on turn 3 and I over-reacted thinking he was about to slide out and slid myself out. Lost 4 seconds there and then battled with moon for a bunch of laps. Finally worked out a way past and nearly geave it back to him a few times. By this time there was no catching the podium so a fourth from fourth on the grid wasn't too bad considering the off. Great racing moon, i know i tapped you a few times, sorry about that...it didn't seem like it through you off though.
Race two and got a great start just to run into a crashing arnold and turbo. I lost a bunch of places. Sorry about the hit turbo I had nowhere to go and you seemed to get out of it ok. A couple of loses ahead of me and I was starting to kick on. A tidy effort catching the divb guys, clean passes and no mistakes for a cruise to the win. I enjoyed that. The mistake in the first race probably cost me a place overall but not too bad.
Just a note though to @Half-Byte, a couple of your passing attempts were looking a bit like divebombs especially at the end of straight three, might have be careful of that in the future especially in the wet.
