The backlash from this will be huge. Wonder if anyone has posted up on gtplanet - assuming that the logitec won't be supported on ps4 regardless of the title.
I think the key words here is FULL SUPPORT. Even the t500 won't have full support ( will only work in-game) so this hasn't changed anything Imo
Someone on Whirlpool suggesred to create a USB adapter that has the security feature and piggy back the wheel into it so that it relays the input and output.
Ok, being the tek guru that i am , i am not quite following what this all means. I assume "full support" means that we can use the T500 to navigate the PS4 menu and the game, 'limited support' would mean use the controller to navigate the PS4, and the wheel only works in the game itself ? For the guys on logitecs, will they have limited support only at this stage ?
Hope they sort the "security" issue out. The handbrake will go ape$hit if I tell her I need a new wheel.
ok, so to naviagate just use the touch pad ? Is that the same with the logitek gear as well ? Not quite so bad then...
I pretty much do that now, use dual shock to turn ps3 on and off, menus and chat, g27 for everything else, trying to chat chat with dual shock is bad enough but is a real PITA with g27 so I use both. Hope fully they sort this out to make the transition to pcars (if it does happen) as smooth as possible. That being said, when I do get ps4 and pcars I'm going to retire the g27 anyway (maybe before), plus new tv. It's a shame they don't know when project Morpheus is being released because I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a MacNugget too.
project Morpheus is set to release around the same time as project cars, you can pre order now I think
Looks good. Still making progress on the gamepad filtering defaults, and linking that up to good in-game wheel animations will be tricky. As promised some WIP shots from the GUI
