GT6 [Completed] S2 BJH Memorial Race of Champions.

Guys,
Whilst looking through Jono's great photos of BJ's S01 ROC win an idea sprang to mind which I thought I'd share - which perhaps could be considered an ROC tradition moving forward.

Once everyone attending the ROC is in the room, after practice runs are done and just prior to the race perhaps everyone could assume a position on the grid (leaving P01 vacant for BJ) for 1 minute of silence to remember and honour BJ.
With handbrakes on, mic's off and car's idling we could reflect and pay our respects before the room is reset to start the race.

I'm not sure if a similar idea is already in the works but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Beat me to it Dave. With Div 5 having the chance to have such a moving tribute at Daytona, it would be good for the rest of us to pay our respects in the same way. What you suggested is exactly what I was thinking. Might even look up the poem that was read at his funeral, and have that read out as it was quite fitting and moving. ( not afraid to admit it brought a tear to my eye). Just might have to ask someone else to read it as my mic is not all that stable.

I'll put my hand up to read it mate. I'm pretty good with speeches.

Just a reminder to all the Division winners, no one is permitted to run the #1 on their cars as the reigning champ reserves that right and we all know who that is. Also we all know it but #51 is off limits too.

Damn straight... Faine will be very tough to beat.
Just did some practice... Must find consistency... I can do a good lap, but not several in a row.

The time to beat will be 30:50.000. No one crosses the line before then and BJ will retain his title.
