Tonight is the night guys.
Make sure you have ALL the entrants on your friends list before the race and have reset you system after any new FR have been sent.
Don't forget to have your settings set to the pre update ones.
No #1 or #51
Look for Gary's room as he will be hosting (still alright to do so mate?)
Mics will be on to make organizing this easier but once the race starts mics off please.
Make sure you know you div's handicap time - anyone unsure of how this works please put you hand up and ask.
Also there will be a tribute lap to honour our late great champion from last season. We will line up on the grid and do a slow lap before lining up on the front straight (no particular order) leaving the No. 1 grid spot empty as a sign of respect. Jono will then recite the poem that was read at Bruce's funeral followed by a minutes scilence, which means no mic chatter (mute if you can) and no engine revs/blips/burn outs. If your not in posistion when the poem starts then just stop wherever you are. The moment deserves our respect and it isn't hard to do so.
Other than that have fun and race hard as there are no divisional winners, so everyone is pushing to get to the front.
Who will be our new Champion of Champions? Or will Bruce retain his title? We will find out tonight. See you all there.

Don't worry about me you'll pass me while I'm digging myself out of the sand turn 1. In all seriousness i'm awful at motegi in the macca (GT300's is a different story) I was the slowest div 2 driver in this round. My best lap was 0.65 slower than yours so even if I don't crash you should catch me by lap 6. Faine and Razor on the other hand good luck catching them although I reckon the Div 4 guys are the ones to watch.

Man the new tyre model on the Macca is a nightmare.
Taking corners without really pushing the car heats them up and causes the rear to lose grip and step out.
Ridiculous.

I have a feeling it will be a very frustrating race tonight....but looking forward to it just the same

Hoping to improve on my lap times - just ran a few laps and managed a 12.4 with several 12.5's (just hope I can keep that pace, or better during the actual race)

cmon Dave you were doing 11's previously! Funny thing is in my first practice session I lapped over half a second quicker than my previous PB. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Yeah, wear off makes a big difference.

I've taken 2s off my lap time with wear off.

Wow, just done a few laps and how disappointing is the new tyre model, even with the old suspension setup
There is no mid corner grip when you push anymore but anyway that's how it is. I am consistently in the mid to low 12s now with 11.8 as my fluke pb, so definite change in tyre model as affected the laptimes but oh well. Going to be a long race tonight but always fun so can't wait

That sounds good razor scotty and I were doing mid to low 11's best being a 11.2

very little practice for me and no where near those times.
