Yeah no tyre wear. I am down to a 11.3 now. Had to change driving style to match this tyre wear and seems to be working. See everyone tonight

Tyre wear is OFF...PB only 11.8 with the new tyre model.
Certainly off the pace of you guys hitting mid-low 11's. I guess I'll have to try and rely on consistency as one mistake will lose valuable seconds to those behind.

I notice no difference with new tyre model but that's probably because tyres go red in every car around every corner with a controller....

I ran some practice laps today and my best was a 1:10.67. However race pace will be about 11.0 or 11.1 and thats gonna be tough to maintain the whole race without a mistake.

With just some quick calculations, averaging 11.0 for 25 laps +50 sec, I'd finish with a time of 30:25, but that's when the track is clear and it's obviously not going to be the case tonight. Should be a good race, see you guys there.

absolutely Warrior....its gonna be a very tough race (especially for you guys leaving last).

CAGM and I ran a practice race earlier (I left at the 16sec mark and CAGM at the 26sec mark) and I finished in 30.33 and CAGM in 30.41 - but that's with a clear track. With other cars on track and being lucky enough to avoid any collisions or lag punts even the early starters are going to find it tough to beat BJ's time of 30.50 - unless they have an incident-free race.

could we just have a clarification on the handicap system please?

Is it div 6'ers go off on green, then 18 seconds later div 5, than 16 seconds after Div 5 the Div 4 go and so forth?

Just to clarify if anyone thinks the handicap time is from the green flag for all Divs,

Got it right Turbo. Div 6 will start as soon as the lights go out, while all the other Div's wait until their handicap time elapses. All the way untill the race clock gets to 50 secs at which point the Aliens are released.

The handicaps times listed are like TB said the time at which each division goes after div 6 and not the times between divisions. So div 4 actually goes before 5 ( If there were any ) and div 2 actually goes before 3.

Everyone's handicap is what is listed in the opening post. Not incremental. So Bruce would have actually started after Div 4, such was his pace during the season race.
So just to be absolutely clear, CTNPeach will go when the lights go out. Div 4 start once the race clock hits 16 secs. Then Div 5 (no entrants this time other than Bruce) at 18 secs, not another 18 secs later(34sec).
Div 2 then are released when the clock gets to 26 secs, Div 3 go at the 30 sec mark and lastly Div 1 start their assault once the clock hits 50 secs.

Don't worry about me holding up you div 1 dudes, pretty easy to pass someone who's building sand castles.
