That is fantastic news! It's so good to have a countryman representing you at the maximum level, specially in a top car. I was really saddened when Montoya left for the bloody NASCAR and the Colombian flag was never seen over a podium again (ok twice, but it was bloody NASCAR on a street circuit). Go Ricciardo!!!!
Y Yeah I know and he's done good on a few 24 hours runs, but really miss him on a competitive car outside of an oval. He was pretty ballsy overtaker when he was in F1, around a time whe people would just follow the car in front (loved the overtaking manouvre he put on Michael at Interlagos 2001).
