Sounds like the tyres might play a big role in the race tomorrow. Sadly that bodes well for Vettel, but Kimi and Rosberg should also go well, and who knows, maybe Mr Button might get that Macca moving...
The softs are getting destroyed after only a couple of laps. Medium and hard would have been a better choice me thinks...
why Q2? because if some teams try and save a set of softs and use mediums for that session instead? that would create in interesting scenario, depending on what pit strategy they are thinking of at the moment. was just reading on a forum, people are hinting at guys just doing a quick outlap in Q3 then coming straight into the pits lol. dunno why they picked softs for here.....more pitstops doesnt instantly generate a more exciting race.
give them rock hard tyres and let em race, i say. Its not real racing when all the passing is done whilst the drivers are not pushing the car to the limit, its just a tyre game.
I thought the teams were gonna try n save some softs for Q3, you know have 2 sets to burn in Q3. But by the looks of it everyone will just use the softs for all qually's.
Conspiracy theories will be rife lol, just a shame it happened today, especially after these last few weeks.
Theres no way a team would do that on purpose, especially at the start of a season when points are soo important.
