Sorry guys I'll have to bail. One of the youngsters isn't feeling well so my "play time" has been cancelled for tonight. Though by the sounds of it I wont be missing much. And when I was on earlier I noticed the server was still set to the vallelunga track with the ferrari. I was going to try and update the server but realised that I wasn't too sure how to update the entry_list.ini file so decided to leave it.
I quickly jumped on last night to have a quick run, and yeah same business! No one was on, and it was still at Vallelunga with the 599... So I jumped into my own prac session at Blackwood just to see, and did a 10.9 in race trim.. a low 10 and a 9 was possible in qually trim!
Yeah sorry guys, I got caught up with life, wasn't till I jumped on with Tovey I realised the server was unchanged, my bad. thought I had changed it already, but I had only generated the Cfg files. We need to get everyone up to speed on the server setup, so it's not just me who has the ability to set it up Cheers
Yeah I jumped onto the server setup last night and started doing the server.ini file but then realised I wasn't sure what to put in the entry_list.ini file (particularly for the skins) so I decided to leave it before I mucked it up. Going over the setup would be good. If you have ShadowPlay AJ you could enable desktop recording and actually record what you do and make a video of it - or we could all just jump online one night and go over it via TeamSpeak with the server open in front of us.
I thought of doing the video capture thing with Camtasia, but I think the hands on approach will be better via Teamspeak, once you guys have done it once, you'll be able to do it no probs. If I can pick it up you guys can too....easily If your all available tonight I'm up for a training session , I actually don't mind going over it one at a time if need be, up to you guys really, and when you have the 30min to spare, won't take much longer to get your head around it . @Tovey_4saken We'll set the server up tonight for Saturdays C6r race, thats the most complicated set up you can do due to the GUID #, if you can master that you can do it all blindfolded
