CLUBMAN CUP TRI SERIES Gday fellas, As our iRacing driver lineup has grown considerably over the past few months, I have decided to put together a short series, in the name of getting everyone together racing, to familiarize the new guys with how we run our private leagues and most of all, for the fun of it. Private leagues, with the use of forums and Teamspeak, are in my opinion, the best way to learn and become a better Sim Racer. This series was put together with the intention of accessibility for newer iRacers. We will be running base iRacing content, and there will be prizes up for grabs. We now have an official "iRacing League page", that we can use to launch all of our future private series from. Participants must join the league through the iRacing service here by searching for RaceOnOz.com and sending a league request. Alternatively, I can send you a league invite. Please use this thread to register and for any discussions. If you have any issues with the race times and dates, discuss them here. Car. Pontiac Solstice Z0K Club Sport. When General Motors' Pontiac division created an instant hit with the motoring public when it introduced the Solstice roadster. It also created a great showroom stock road-racing competitor. In its Z0K Club Sport version, created by the GM Performance Division, the Solstice has won two consecutive Sports Car Club of America Showroom Stock B national titles. (In turbocharged GXP trim and with iRacing.com sponsorship, the Solstice has also won the SCCA's T2 national championship.) With a weight distribution that is close to 50/50 and a sophisticated fully-independent suspension system, the Solstice is a well-balanced and good handling car. With a curb weight (including driver) a little over 3,000 pounds and 177 horsepower, the Solstice is a momentum car - which actually makes it a great learning tool. The Solstice rewards smoothness and precision, critical skills in becoming a fast driver in any car, and punishes ham-fisted inputs on the controls in a way that is masked in more powerful race cars. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Round 1. Cool good to see you're keen! You can have any number you like Col. You choose your number in the same area you paint your cars and choose your sponsors on the iRacing website.
When you're logged into iRaing, there's a grey menu bar just below the RACE NOW button. Choose 'myRacing' drop down menu then 'Customise Cars'. Choose the Solstice from the pictures and on the right hand side under the pattern picker is a box to choose your number font and preferred number. Can talk you through it on Teamspeak sometime.
so if got the three months free i would have those cars and tracks we need is that right just to confirm
Hopefully you can get setup in time. It's no problem if you miss the first round and want to join for the second or whatever.
Awesome to have another rooz iracing series. I haven't driven the slowstice much, but these tracks should make for some interesting races. All racers should keep in mind that once the session starts, the session times are locked in, so there is no way to delay the qual and race times if you are running late. So be prepared.
