Hey Stumbles, did your room suffer a bug where tyres wore more quickly after a pits top, and had less grip?
Yup, tyre were rubbish after 1st stop. I think my pit crew put my left rear on sideways... had tyre squeal all the way around the track and the left rear wore out first.... Argh!!!!
Yep, it was ridiculous. Stiggy was saying it's a known glitch. Hope it get remedied sooner rather than later. It was about 1.5 seconds a lap slower after the pitstop. 2nd pitstop was about a second, but the tyres wore just as fast so times dropped off rapidly.
I got lag punted off the track and 180 in 2nd lap, and lost a heap of time on everyone, couldn't catch up with no draft buddy, so I just bobbed along and drove the race out Miss Daisy style
Great yet lonely race for me. Not quick enough to hang with Anon and the stig, but was fairly consistent. I didn't have massive tyre dramas, but did kinda switch off in the second stint being so far behind. Almost ran out of juice in the dying stages but got home... Just! All in all very happy with my first full race after my earlier d/c, One race completed, one podium! Yeehaa!
