Boys and their toys .. err wheels. I dunno, I have played games FOREVER with a PAD, I just don't know if i could come to grips with it (wheel)

It does take a few days/weeks to get used to but is infinitely more fun straight away and will make you faster once you're used to it.

Guys, if you are in div 1 please add me in your psn friends list "OuttaAngst", also add "koastr" as he is the backup host, just in case I get hit by a bus. See you all at cape ring south this Sunday.

Here are the race times for this Sunday's racing, please be sure to be on a little earlier as there always seems to be someone who has connection issues in the first week.

Also we will be reasonably strict with the times, as there are people who cannot afford to be sitting around for half an hour to wait for others. Then there are people who don't want to miss the F1 that is on this weekend.

These will be the Practice/Qual/Race times for all the races unless there is a conflict with the F1 broadcast or the race is long (enduro round). Keep in mind the room normally opens 30-60 mins or more before the practice time, so in effect practice is longer than 10 mins if you turn up early.

Remember to reduce lag effects do the following:
Host: Disable mic's in your lounge settings.
Everyone: Under network, in the options menu, there is a option to "clear system cache". Do this for the most lag-free experience.

Looking forward to some heated battles on Sunday, it's been a while since I had a really good fun and enjoyable race now, or at least it feels that way.

Anyone done any laps yet? I've been racing Forza so I've got no idea what kind of pace I have, low 1'18s consistently with mid 1'17s popping up here and there. Tyre wear on the rear is massive in this car, particularly at this track with all it's elevation changes and crests, I'm thinking a pit stop will be the order of the day.

mate, i've done bugger alll laps. im playing iracing right now. and struggling to find the motivation to practice for tonight.

I know what you mean, even on Forza 3 as I am now, I only had motivation to do 15-30mins practice tops last night, I'm still out of whack with trying to catch slides. I don't think Small_Fryz is racing tonight as he's been overseas and isn't home right now, so if Nick has done any much practice we'll all be screwed. :lol: Knowing that boy we'll all be screwed anyway.

Flew in from China at 10am this morning. Had almost no internet access, so the track and car has been a surprise!

Doing a few practice laps now. I guess I need to find a colour thats not taken? and what time is the actual race? :lol:

Should be fun....
