Sorry for the small bump turn 1 lap 3 Koastr.

As for what happened straight after, WTF? Internet dropped out AGAIN! It'll drive me borderline insane, I was keeping a watching brief on the leaders in case they made a mistake (and by that I mean I was just holding on, not not purposely getting involved in a race for the lead), but I just can't win with technology it seems. It saddens me deep inside.

I look forward to hearing the results though, Dion and Beau were swapping places at the front, then it was Koastr and I and a slight gap back to Nicko. The car is a pig, and by that I mean it's nice to drive up to the limit but past that and it's death for you. I like cars where you can lean on the tyres a bit, a la muscle cars, but you just can't do it in this Macca which makes it very dangerous.

Great opening round guys! I was hoping for more from my race pace but i just couldn't hold it together. That said i didn't make any major mistakes, only a heap of little ones, but they all add up. 5th place is a good reslut for me in my first Div 1 race, and i'm very much looking forward to progressively getting more precise with my driving and maybe battling up front.

I had some great battles with beau and outta at different points in the race, hopefully not too much paint was swapped. Sorry about the bump right at the end outta, i thought i better stop and let you repass me. Grats to Koastr for an amazing drive!

Super sorry nicko, I saw you run wide and tried to get a good run onto the straight, thinking you would be behind me, but at the last moment when it was too late I saw you next to me. Sorry I squeezed you into the pit wall. Besides that it was quite a challenge hanging onto the leaders. I was right on nicko's tail a few times but only close enough to pressure, not pass. Until he ran wide at the final hairpin.

I made a mistake on lap ~20 and chev got passed me. I was lucky to get him back before the flag for 4th spot.

Great racing guys, what I saw was pretty clean. Once again sorry to nico.

I'll be glad to go to nurburgring.

No worries chev, my tires were stuffed and I thought, if you were going to get me you would go up the inside into the hairpin, so I stayed left and braked a little earlier to make sure I didn't overshoot the apex. Sorry if it seemed like I brake tested you.

Oh yeah also Well done koastr, beau and small fryz on the podiums (in that order)

So Koastr won? Or else what was the podium?

Edit: If you won Koastr then huge congrats, in this company that's a great result, and possibly also fighting words. :lol: If you're still posting fastest laps, please put an asterisk next to my time, with the note "Only had one flying lap amidst a tight battle before drop-out". :lol:

Besides the average turnout, and Nicko hitting the Pit wall....What A ******* Awesome race I had. Yes I F'd up once, but it didn't really matter too much.

I had awesome battles from the beginning to the finish.

Awesome battle with Small_Fryz for the lead early on.

Awesome battle trying to keep Koastr behind me early on.

Awesome battle with Chevwah after I made my mistake and dropped back.

Awesome HOLY moment when I had to avoid Nicko on the main straight as he hit the pit wall.

Awesome battle with OuttaAngst in the second stint.

Hugely satisfied with finishing 2nd. Koastr drove a stellar race, Congratulations on your maiden Sunday league victory. I hope this is the first of many to come.

I think if we continue to get respectable grids, this season should be a scorcher.

For those that missed this race or dropped out, remember we drop our worst round. So it's not a great setback to miss a race.

Hmm, probably, I can't imagine us not having a filter despite having the symptoms of not having one, I'm pretty sure we check often enough and it's as it's supposed to be. It has something to do with our distance to the exchange being as far as it can even be to be allowed ADSL 2+, and the lines all take damage over time and Bigpond refuses to help.
