After a chat with Stu last night it looks like I'll be swapping with someone & going to div3. Good luck for the season everyone, will probably see you during the week at some stage.
Ok guys, Just a quick refresher with round 1 tonight .... 1. After some prac races this week, if you are mid pack or farther back, BRAKE EARLY so you dont create chaos at Turn 1 ! 2. REDRESS if you make contact. When following other cars you NEED TO BRAKE A LITTLE EARLIER so you dont drive up the tailpipe of the car in front ! Use your heads please ! 3. Observe and respect track limits 4. Save your replay if there is an issue 5. PIT LANE is open from Lap 1. 6. Have asked for the prac room BEFORE the race to be a "tuning" room so everyone can have their pit strat set correctly 7. Look for faster cars on pit exit. 8. OBSERVE BLUE FLAGS ! if you defend against a car lapping you, there is a very high chance of penalty ... 99.9% ! IF there is someone in your div that is CLEARLY too fast for your div we 'may' make a div change for round 2.....points will be decided by mod discussion if this needs to happen. real quick what time is race time? 7:30 qld time or nsw? they are an hour ahead correct? think i saw above but want to confirm cheeRS
All race times are in AEDT. so 7:30 for those of us in QLD and 8:30 for those in NSW, VIC, TAS............... but as @garyw61 said, he should have a room open around an hour before this for practice and final set up for pit strategy.
I will start qualifying room at 8.10pm Sydney time (7.10 Brisbane time). Please use the 'vote to start' button so we know when everyone is ready. Qualifying is 10 minutes, then I normally run a 5 minute warmup for toilet breaks, drink top-ups etc., although we can dispense with this if most don't think it's needed.
Looks like you were a bit premature with the snap there v8. I did my fastest lap chasing TB down on the final lap.
Pretty disappointed with my effort this race. I had been doing low 17S on Thursday night. Went to the southern 80 and just over did it. I was so tired I couldn't find any of my pace or even keep it straight. Looking forward to next week for an improvement.
