Division 3 season 10

You'll be right Rumbles.... It's not actually a bad car once you understand how it drives

My main issue is that I am 8s a lap off of Anon in a prac room so there is something horribly wrong with the car that I am having trouble determining (if I could tune it I would find it out fast enough).

Maybe there is something I am missing, so I am going to look at the car today and see if I can find it. It feels tight enough but just not fast enough. I have an idea as to what may be the issue but will find out when I jump on and take a look.

It's like unprotected sex; I may have considered pulling out too soon...

Well, my PS3 just lost connection to the internet and I dropped from the race.
I think it might be the dodgy ethernet cable I'm using at the moment :-(

Firstly, Sid, mate know how it feels to be d/c in a winning position!! Most recently in the final race of S8, I had to win, take pole & fastest lap to ensure I won the championship. I was leading after taking pole for the first 2/3's of race until a circuit breaker tripped and poof! I was gone!

Anyhoo, I did a bit better than I imagined as I hadn't done enough practice and still wasn't 100% comfortable with the track. A last minute pedal position adjustment on the new Next Level Racing Stand (thanks Pagnian ) and it felt to be a much better position. I ended up qualifying in 4th spot behind Sid, gary & Vendalism.

Got a decent start, everyone held position, and the top 4 started to pull away in a little pack. We kept pretty close for several laps, having a good battle when Vendalism, when about lap 9, I went a fraction too wide on the first uphill into the forest and half spun. It cost me about 6-7 seconds but I had maintained my place.

Ven pitted about lap 11 or so, and I managed to pass him as he was coming out, but my tyres were looking decidely second hand by this point, so I pitted at the end of lap 13, one lap early, letting him back through. I fell back to 8th place while in the pits and then started my long chase back.

Caught up to Rumbles pretty quickly who was putting up a valiant fight, but his tyres were rooted and he was doing a bit of sliding. Bumped him up the rear when he got into a tank slapper heading into the trees, but I think it stopped him completely spinning out and managed to take him on the outside of the next corner. Passed a few more guys as they pitted and I was back into 4th. Lap 16 I think it was, Ven was coming back out of the pits, so I held 3rd for a short while until a small mistake got him back through. A small gap developed while I tried to nurse the tyres to the end, but about 4 laps to go I noticed the gap had closed up a bit, so I pushed a little bit harder but on lap 25 & 26 I hit the wall leading onto pit straight spinning me 360 degrees. Luckily I had enough gap back to 5th to not lose my spot.

In amongst that poor old Sid got D/C promoting me to third and thats how it finished!

Well done to Gary for his win, you did deserve it, some real pace shown there. Bring on next week @ Indy. A whole different track, no bumps and hills here!!

Yeah, I am pretty sure I got pole, at least that's what it showed on my screen, and I started from position 1. Did anyone else's screen show differently?
