Hey Stu, yeah I'm in for this this season in Div 3, sorry I didn't know I needed to confirm it again. Finally got back onto the ps3 for maybe an hour yesterday and still quite rusty with the car but will be looking for more test runs up to the season start if I'm to be keeping up with the rest of you guys. Definitely!!! I really need to work on driving my own race and not overdriving to race others.... with this car Im sure if you can just do lap in lap out without mistake you will catch someone who is on the ragged edge when it eventually spits them out.
I start a week and a half of holidays on Wednesday, gunna have to use all of that to get used to the Macca or I'll be running around the back of the field every race... Great line up we have here, should be fun.
Agreed that was amazing practice with not even one bit of contact even with some risky overtakes and drafts haha and being 000.1 apart
Full grid now guys of 14. That will be the limit i think. Slambobagan has been added, very competitive qual time so there should be some epic battles from the front to the back of the grid.....
It is going to be one full on season from everyone I've raced with so far don't think there will be any break away drivers with gaps bigger then 1 second.even then holding a gap has proven impossible haha
Yeah, once some of us get some miles under our belt all the divs will close up and there will be some very close racing, should be great.
feeling good about this, i've drove the macca loads ofline so I feel right at home in it. now hopefully I get some tracks i'm quick on and I might get a podium this season
Its going to be really close until I see the first sandpit to play in!!! good thing the mclaren is a three seater, one seat for me, one for my bucket and one for my spade!
As someone who usually only plays GT on Sunday nights for league races, i'm not liking the sound of this car!! Sounds like a handful..
You'll be all right mate, it's not the trickiest we've ever had, but would be good to turn a few laps to get used to its suspension stiffness and throttle control
