guys, with floodsim out of the season because of his house move, i am going to replace him with a new member "skywalker" His PSN is S54VED If you guys can add him on PSN asap would be good. Thanks stu
Hi Guys, Just a heads-up that I will be running our room as a fixed host, as this kept us lag free last season, and no-one had any compatibility errors. I believe that it works much better though if everyone has everyone else on their friends list. So, if everyone could add everyone else and reset their PS3 before Sunday night it would be good. Welcome skywalker, May the 4th be with you tomorrow night! (sorry, I had to do it).
I'll make sure to add him tonight still waiting for hosie to accept? And Gary don't fret.I'm really pushing for those lap times and really on a knives edge every lap so it's anyone's this is the season for consistency not a quick hot lap
Oh Geez don't say that I only just come up from div 5 haha I have been running this track for a month though.haven't really touched the others yet so my pace could be turned down after this race.and I can't even get 1 lap on Monza haha
Hey guys. My car colour is GT POLARIZED 010-p which is kinda dark greyish. Number 55 Only have half the field on my friends list I will be on probly an hour before the race to try add everyone.
Tovey u are going to smash us at this track, my best lap has been a 1:27.57 But mostly lapping low 28s. Has any tried to do 32 laps how much fuel and tyres is left. Or do ya need to pit half way?
If you must pit slambo, do it as late as possible. The glitch is still there, so you come out of pits with less grip and slightly lower red-line on the engine. I did about 20 laps yesterday and tyre wear was a bit higher than I liked, down to 5 on the front left with 12 laps left to run. You'll make it on fuel, just tyre conservation will be the key.
The other day I ran my tyres down to 5 (and would have been close to 4), then pitted and continued on. IMO even with the original tyres on 5 it still seemed better than the fresh tyres from the pits (particularly after a couple of laps). New tyres from pitting are attrocious. I found it a struggle to match the times I was hitting with worn original tyres. I'll certainly be trying to make the race distance on the one set of tyres....
I did a race distance a few nights ago and did it pretty confortably. Fuel is no issue, with tires I finished with 4 on the front and 7 on the rear. Running in the 7s and low 8s as I did more laps. The key is being patient on the throttle, particularly the long right hander in the second sector (it's the one that can kill the front left), and the third sector is also an excercise in patience !
was going to ask about pits / tyres etc... but all my questions have already been answered! Haven't driven this track or the maclaren (only bought it a few nights back) much, so the race will probably be practice for me... hopefully can be fairly consistent, thats always what counts in a race Got an idea about brake points now, so my goals for tonight: -Dont go too deep when braking -Easy on the throttle on the exits / no sliding -Not last Cya's online tonight!
