I think my race was lost in that first pit stop. I was a little too slow on entry avoiding the wall, and the AI driver had a foot seizure all the way along the pit lane, and then all the way down to the exit. The 3 seconds I lost to you @AOCleaner74 in there cost me at least a battle with you at the end. If I'd come out ahead Id have made myself as wide as I could on my sm's and even though you'd have eventually got past we would have been together at the end I reckon. It took me a couple of laps to warm the tyres up and then I reeled emmo in on his worn softs, and after discussion pre-race about pace and wild cards I think emmo took 1 for the team and let me by. Pinoy put up a valiant effor on sm's at the end too well done.

The pit stops seem to be a bit of a lottery, I tagged Turbos scrawny butt on the way into the pit lane but he was well ahead when we exited. It took me a couple of laps on my SS tyres to reel him in on his SMs, I was beginning to think he must have been on SS as well but eventually I got myself in gear and caught him up.

That was a good battle for those few laps though wasn't it Emmo, I wasn't planning on making it easy for you!! The switchback of positions at various corners was great.

@disturboed , It sure was,, we crossed paths a number of times and our fortunes seemed to ebb and flow in opposite directions, I thought I had you covered when I qualified ahead of you, which surprised me and probably you too, it doesn't happen often.
Over the first few laps I was pulling away from you but then I had a big slide through the down hill left hander which dropped me back from Dek into your clutches, I tried to hold you out but you were too strong through turn 1 and although I got back through turn two/three the first time, the second time I was so keen to get the position back I was sitting right on your clacker going into turn three and couldn't see the corner properly, you must have whooped with joy when I spun into the inside wall and thought you had seen the last of me.
You must have had some problems of your own though as I closed the gap before we pitted. I ran in to the pits too hot behind you and gave your rear end a serve which threw me out of sinc and I hit the accelerator at the wrong time which caused my option to change tyres and fuel to disappear.
After the stop I came out a little behind you and having SS on and assuming you had SM I thought you would be easy meat, but it took quite a few laps to run you down, so much so I began to think maybe you were on SS tyres as well. It took me a while to get my rhythm and get by you. I should have been toast from there because I had to stop but you didn't. I shouldn't have been able to put a pit stop of time on you but I was surprised when we crossed paths again as I exited the pits, you lost time somewhere?. I could tell you were as determined to pass me as I was to stay ahead and running side by side all the way from the pit exit to turn 4 shows how well you can mix it. It wasn't until that turn that I had the inside run and was able to put my fresher tyres to good use.
Then at the last corner I saw you charging up behind me, you almost tagged me but luckily just missed and speared off into the sand. Last corner lunge at it's best.

Dive bomb kamikaze that was, i was lucky though, as any further deeper in that sand, and moon would have gobbled me up.

OK Guys,

TIRE REGS FOR SPRINT ROUND & TRACK LIMITS

SPORTS SOFT, No pit required.
WEAR : NORMAL

TRACK LIMITS: As per ROOZ rules, the ripple strip is deemed the extremity of the track, so the run onto the BACK STRAIGHT will mean you CANT use the outside of the track. There is a white line that runs along the exit and that is deemed the track extremity. Drivers continually using the outside of the turn, or anyone gaining advantage OR positions WILL BE PENALISED. This goes for all other corners on the track, IE turn 1 as well.

Race 1 was hard going at the back, too close resulting in a few taps. I finally binned it and started race 2 first and kept it there.

Qualied 2nd on the grid which was good for me.
Good start along with AO, we formed a small gap back to everyone else. Hung onto AO for the first third of the race, but then he scampered. Held onto second for entire race, just tried to manage the lap times as Jim was closing in. Did a PB of 1.07.8 in there somewhere.

Second race, 2nd last on the grid. Again good start, but hang back wait for the inevitable. Picked up 4 spots in a couple of laps. Had a good run a couple of times onto Hangar straight to pick off Ad2mny but the sticky brake pedal reared its head again costing me acceleration. Several laps later, started to get frustrated with it and had a poor turn 1 allowing AO past at Turn 2. Couple laps later was in a battle with Jim, came towards the final chicane with him just in front but in middle of track, and right at the last second he cut back in front of me onto the racing lline. I tried to avoid as my car always goes deep into braking, but tagged his rear end spearing him way off into the sand.

Even though I wasn't attempting a move I stopped and let him by, but getting out of the sand takes hours and we were way back by the time we got going again. Had a good battle with Ranoken for a few laps over last place! All in all it was a pretty crappy race 2, cost me a good result this week.

i got the replay , just to see how badly i messed up, and yeah it was bad , I took out Tanktex on the first lap second race
( SORRY TANKTEX ) , i dont know what has to be done , but they must take away my points or something

Had a 1.07.7xx qualy, but ended up starting 6th after going back to main screen. Got to 4th by end of lap 1, then just tried to lap consistently, Pinoy made a mistake and I was close enough to get by, slowing closed in on turbo but there wasn't enough to laps to catch.

Race 2, I knew would be tough so tried to stay clear of trouble, tagged AO a few times under braking but he was good enough to keep it straight. Lap 7-ish got past turbo and ran side by side for half the lap, leaving him room where it might be required, as turbo said was in front coming to chicane slowly moving across the track, following the racing line, braked at my mark, and subsequently got punted into the sand, ruining both our races. Lesson learnt.
