Great race everybody

Bah!
Qual 8th, finished 9th, just didn't have the pace here. Thought I set a decent lap time, but it was just no where quick enough.

Thought I was in with a chance for a top 5 finish as I 1 stopped and most of the field 2 stopped, but I was just too far back to make it work from the first batch of stops and after pitting end of lap 16 to switch to the mediums, i had all been caught up by the guys on fresher softs by 2-3 laps from the end.

Oh well, onto the sprint races!

This must be the most difficult track to overtake I think even when your faster so long as the apex's are covered and the car in front doesnt fall of its a near impossible task I found anyway

It was a terrible race for me. I just couldn't find any rhythm here. After finding the sand a couple of times, I was right at the rear and that were I stayed.

A virtually clean race from me, but by no means did I get it easy! Got my fastest lap ever in quali, not sure what everybody else did, but I thought it would put me close to the front anyways. Got away well from the start and the 3 behind me followed close for the first 2 laps, I managed to get a 2 sec lead after I put the hammer down but Ad2mny would not let go of me so I was concentrating really hard to manage it only to brake a fraction late into T1 and put 2 wheels on the dirt. Ad took advantage of this and just scraped thru into the lead. 2 laps later we both pitted only for me to come out in front? Not sure what happened there.... After the pit stops I noticed Ad was struggling to get past Emmo so I knew he must have been on the sm.
After that it was a bit of a lonely race just watching the gap to Pinoy and hoping that I could pull enough of a lead to come out first after my last stop for sm. I had a 25 sec lead which turned out to be a 4 sec advantage which was enough for me to keep the gap constant to the end.
Well done to everybody for good clean racing. Good to see there are no protests or any Lag issues in our division. I think I want to stay with you guys!

What so you did better than a 29.5 in qually?? 29.7 was pole pace in div 2.
