sry guys not a good idea to use my room this week im having issues now aswell. @emmo46 is the only 1 iv seen in lobby with 5stars and the set up last week was as good as it gets div2 are tryin the same this week..but... i think the sorter the room is open the more chance we all hav of finishing so open 8:25 mic on but only emmo and hat's to be turnd on 4 communication resetting room could course a prob so prac on less tyre compound until quali as div6 are doin this week 15min 4 e1 to get in hopefully 8:40 a real qualifier (drive alone) 10mins race starts automatically ... e1 reset modems THEN NETWORK TEST IN SETTINGS make sure its nat 2?? thats all i got lol ???
Last time I tried to host it fell apart. I'm willing to try again if there is no other option. If I do, I'll happily follow stiff's recipe, room open at 8:35, only practice on hards allowed, once everyone is on board I will declare qualifying as started, everyone can change to RM and we will have 10 minutes to set a time before race start.
We can also try hosting through the Community set up? I still think @CAB77's room is the best setup for now. I think last week was just unlucky how he got DCS. Just a reminder that I will also be out this weekend.
i can give the hosting a go... i know in the past there has been times where i had a full room the only prob is not everyone can see each other but we all know what to do if that happens and that's to rejoin i'll test tonight if you guys want
On resetting a room if you change a rule like tire wear will do the same as changing a track. Just change the rule back and all good.
there is many ways to reset a room *change tyre wear rate *turn on damage (if it's turned off) or change it to a higher rate *Change weather or time (if it can be changed ) *change grip from real to low *change slipsteam from real to strong
i agree but it depends on what the room caps say if they say RESET room the room host will have to do it
yes i know but if we have to reset the room at least @CAB77 know's how to do it without changing tracks
woohoo Telstra have actually fixed whatever issue we had...get home and internet is good. How about this guys... We practice in a number of rooms 2 or 3 up to about 8:00 pm edst and the host of the RACE ROOM notes down who is hosting these practice rooms and the hosts of the practice room note down who is in their room. at that time the RACE ROOM host will create a room and proceed to send out invites to join his room possibly the practice room host as he will know who was in his room .... if he noted them down....once that person is established a stable connection with the room the next invite goes out...that way we won't have 3 or 4 or 5 guys trying to enter at once. once you are in the room you ARE NOT to enter the track so we don't have to reset the room.... once everyone is in and established qualifying can start
