Ok guys..... Time to get this up.....sorry for the delay. Have given everyone the choice of 3 cars ......all 3 tested very well, and each has a different feel and speed characteristics. As we all know, there are so many cars to chose from, we cant please everyone, however i am sure with any of these cars we wll have a cracking season. Poll will close in 9 DAYS. At this stage we are looking at a 1 tire series with the wear to be determined once the car is selected, to 'try' to get strategy of some sort. Test them on Sport soft, or Sports mediums...... Thanks for your patience, select 'wisely'! LFA Nurburg edition: Aston Martin V12 Vantage BMW M3 '07 All three can be numbered, and have the wheels changed.....Are all pretty stable, however TEST THEM BEFORE YOU MAKE A CHOICE ! All have different characteristics, and feel. Cheers stu
Yes, please test them before going and voting now. I don't think it would be wise to vote one and then drive it at Round 1 and hate it. I know I'm going to be testing a lot before I make my choice.
Without testing, I'd vote v12 vantage coz I've used it in nfs most wanted and loved it but won't make a final decision just yet. Will try them tomoz
All three are great cars, the LFA is edgier, Aston and BMW both feel great, with the Aston having more grunt.....
I don't have the luxury of testing, as I won't have access to GT6 until May 31, so I'll have to make a decision based on my previous experiences with these cars and the cars' specs.
Bevo...This is GT6 not NFS physics are so different, so please try them out first...I have tried the Aston and TBH I think its a box of
I've had initial runs in all 3 cars and am impressed with all 3. Going to be a hard choice. BMW is good, nice turning. Aston is good, really picks up and gets going with the V12. Can feel the weight of the car for sure, especially in corners, but then it just launches. LFA is wicked. Can certainly feel the difference in the suspension, it's rock hard and you feel any little bumps. Very difficult choices requiring lots of testing methinks!
Try the Aston Martin on ss tyres at Midfield...once you get a couple of laps under your belt, you'll keep going and all of a sudden the lap counter will be at 20...such a pleasure to drive. It has my vote. The LFA is lots of fun and runs a very close second to the Aston.
Lexus LFA or BMW for me. Aston Martin steering feels very light, but the car is quite heavy and thats really uncomfortable to drive for me..... Been testing on Sports Hards so i'll try them again on SS later
VFA? Think your driving the wrong car! Wont win championships doing that.... Then again I haven't won championships driving the right car
I Like the M3, at the limit its very controllable even when things start getting sideways. The Aston Martin is good too, and is similar to the M3 with a little more power, however it's body roll makes things a little wierd on turning at high speed and you cant really feel when the rear slides out. The LFA is like an attack on the senses, very loud screaming V10 and edgy Handling make it very enjoyable at the limit, the lowish torque also gives it more grip off slow corners then you think. Overall I voted the LFA with the M3 a close second.
