Well I voted for the LFA a few hours ago, and I also agree with Mustafur that RH could be used, just not in quali
I think part of the problem is that GT6 does not portray the sense of speed very well. If you were going that fast in the LFA in real life, you would probably need even longer braking distances.
So the majority voted for a Road Car and now it looks like we'll end up with Race Car performance with road car brakes, suspension and aero................interesting.
I agree @Watto64, I reckon next season there should be a 'Track Car' option along with the Road and Race car options.
The LFA is a Supercar not a track car, the Nurburgring package makes it a bit better handling wise and power wise but it's still very much designed for road use. It's like the 458 Speciale, it still has it's infotainment system and the interior isn't even stripped out(well actually the speciale has it's interior stripped out lol). A track Car would be a 911 GT3 RS.
Well guys, it's official. The LFA wins by 5 votes. A very close ballot, I reckon we may see those other two cars in next seasons poll. We'll start up a track discussion thread very shortly, so get out on the track and get some laps and feedback!
To all those who didn't vote for the LFA (I didn't), think on the bright side: we get to race with one of the best sounding cars in the game, with one of the coolest interior tachometers. So no complaints from me.
I will have to work really hard now to get a handle on corner entry. I found with this car I was about a second off drivers that I could match in the BMW. Hopefully I'll find a good brake balance or something that will help me close the gap to my Divs fast guys.
i really don't like this car on SS tyres. RH are not bad at least it can stop. Just listen to the vid posted all you hear is constant tyre squealing over that v10 just sounds rubbish.
Stick to SS, its a road car. Admittedly very fast, but a road car nonetheless. So for racers in season 6 change your driving style to suit. Its all about race craft, which you dont improve by having the tyres drive for you. If i was to add a second tyre to the list it would be SH. This would make qualifying fun. Cant wait for this season to begin.
I just don't like spending 90% of my concentration just trying to stay on track and only 10% trying to race the other guys. I would prefer it the other way round.
Its not a race car. Its a road car thats all. Im sure It will feel consiserably different for a time to all, including me. But Im up for the challenge. If there wasnt always the possibility of finishing last, then there wouldnt be any possibilities at all.
