Looks like my SSD has sharted itself. PC stopped responding last night, did a hard shut-down, and now it won't recognise the boot drive Off to find receipt and see if she's still under warranty. Either way will probably be in the shop over the weekend at the very least so no Motegi for me..
Sorry I have been AWOL since I first got the game, been busy on weekends pretty much and only had some GT5 time. Will try and get in tomorrow late morn/early Arv if i can (and not join a race lol)
How does the OSR league race work tonight? Can you just show up to practice, qualify and have a go and does the race affect your SR or irating? I can actually run this track without spinning too much so would be fun to have a race without having to worry about the SR.
Just register in the league section, i'll let em know ya in and get the password to you. Its a good fun race with no worrying about SR or IR, but everyone still runs clean. Was an interesting race, made my way near the front just behind you bones after all those accidents at the start only to get spun on the last corner later that lap so that put me back a fair bit. I couldn't keep it together after 20 laps tho lol I was getting cramps because my setup is horrible so had to give it up, wasn't bad tho gave me a chance to see what the field is like. Lots of work to do to have any chance near the front.
You did well m8, I had a few offs and had to take a P at my first pit stop. Was going ok, keeping up with some of the fast guys early so was fairly happy with the late changes i made to the set up but it has a lot of tweaking to go yet. You will find once you are in the weekly official races you will be up near the front as those fast guys last night will be in the top spits and we will all be in a race with more even competition. You were right on my tail for a while and it made me pick up the pace a bit, then you were gone, was a long race and much longer than what we will have to do in the official races so you will be ok.
Yeah it was good having a bit of a battle with you till i got a bit heavy with the right foot. Looking forward to the next one for sure. Definitely have to get use to the tyres, after about 10 laps starts to get really difficult to drive I was losing almost 2 secs a lap towards the end of my first stint
Yer we thought it might be him Teck, I got 3rd in that race, one of my best Americas race to date. Nick Rainbird shared a setup with him and contacted him on twitter the next day to confirm it was the real Will and he confirmed it with a thanks for the setup. He didnt race too bad for a newbie in the V8 either. Getting a few international real life drivers taking a bit of interest in the iracing V8 supercar. You still iracing Teck?
Yer was gifted with 2 podiums last week, both due to Chad Chastain being taken out and having good fuel economy. Tim "take em out not my" Faultsze took Chad out in this race, I got a replay and will put it up in the Iracing vid section soon. Not sure which car Will is in but I think i got all drivers at some stage so he is one of them.
As you all have likely noticed, I have given ir away. I just cannot dedicate enough time to it to justify the cost it is a great game but that is the issue... Who knows, I may come back one day, only time will tell. It wouldn't be e first time I have swapped games completely. But it reminds me of my WOW days, and I don't really want to go back to that sort of dedication for a game.
I'll hopefully be back into it Thursday, have been waiting to make up a rig so I can race a bit longer without getting cramps in an office chair lol. Will have it all finished then and ready for some laps
Ok M8, see ya Thursday, i got out of my office chair and into a Supra seat I got from a specialist wreckers for $80, its supra comfy and ready for the driver swap enduros we getting in Iracing next year.

Well I was enjoying that last race until some guy decided to stop infront of me, i was too annoyed to keep going and gave up. He first looked like he was going to the inside so i stayed on the racing line then he came infront of me and hit the brakes before the final corner so didnt have anywhere to go. Will have to look out for it next time. I dont know what the deal was with the other guy asking for an apology in warmup after he turned into me but whatever it kept him quiet
