Short yes, deal breaker no. With the correct track list the Rocket could make an epic season. If the gearbox is that big of an issue you could always restrict its power.
I've run in a series with the rocket before. It went quite well and we ran some tracks where it topped out.
Not just yet, I'm still placing the HSV lightyears before anything else, but the Crossbow would be good.
Thats true, I'll be honest, i was expecting more tight twisty stuff that the rocket would have been better at rather than how fast can ya go, because clearly 200km/h was a struggle in the rocket
When testing for S7 I tested the Civic touring car, I quite liked it even when I was on controller back then
Just from an independent perspective, I find that slower easier to drive cars often produce the best racing. Drivers can easily get to grips with the car and therefore less time is spent on wrestling the car all over the track and more effort can be put into side by side racing. Hence why I reckon the Suzuki Cappachino is a great idea for a season. Only thing I will say, is that the racing tends to be all well and good and very good racing throughout the field, but if you were to have a spin or something similar and it lost you a lot of time, it can be very hard to make that time back up and join back in the racing. One final thing, is its something I think rooz races have at times been missing. tracks with genuine passing opportunities. For example, if you guys do decide to go with the Cappa, then GT arena would be a great track to run, pretty much all but 2 corners are genuine passing opportunities. Turn 1 hairpin and the last complex a prime example On a side note, the Cappa was a car a few of us were trying to push a few seasons ago, and it never happened. If you guys choose the Cappa, you might find I'll try and fish out a second hand PS3 and copy of the game to see if I can have a run with the Cappa
