    In all seriousness, am I the only one who couldn't even choose wether to use Traction Control or not? It was legitimately restricted and said it was off. Now I have no idea wether I was using Traction Control or not hahaha.

    traction control is restricted to medium in the lobby settings, as is pit assist, Brake assist. not sure why it wouldnt let you select medium TC

    Maybe it was a case like last week where the AI was showing as 0 when actually set at 85 (or whatever it is). But now I have no idea wether I was using any form of Traction Control or not.

    to stop it from happening again and to ensure you're using med TC, just set it in the main menu before you join a MP session. that way it'll always be saved to your profile.

    I'm actually trying to learn how to drive with as few assists as possible. So am actually hoping it was off last night. I think i have it off in the main menu, so might explain why it showed off and restricted.

    Got a great start but due to T1, couldn't do anything with it. @Toranafan-02 got by at T2 but lost the rear so I stayed in 7th

    I took @nigegunz around the outside just before the sweeping left-right

    I closed on @Randm90 but then the hairpin arrived with the missing marker board and both of us ran off. As randm jinked into me I took wing damage and received a 5 sec penalty. I continued on to see what the damage would be like, and it was awful.

    Lap 2 I pitted for softs but the crew didn't change the wing so I pitted again on lap 3 for mediums and a new wing coming out dead last

    Lap 8 I passed @Jurassic Mark as he ran wide

    Lap 14 mark exits the pits straight across into the other-side wall

    Lap 16 there is a car on the grass after the turn onto the back straight

    Lap 19 I get alongside @fezza before the final turn but I pit for a set of SS

    Lap 20 I exit the pits as @JonoStan96 laps me

    Lap 24 jono has a little slide and I un-lap myself which ended up being key for my final overtake soon after

    Final lap, fezza goes defensive into the hairpin and I criss-cross to have the outside for the final turn. Fezza cuts onto the grass and ruins his exit basically giving me the racing line and 11th place.

    Was annoyed that my possible top 5 fight was ruined by a missing marker board and then the failure to change wing issue within the first 2 laps. But I did enjoy chasing down fezza

    I fear this will get missed amongst all the he said she said crap, but:

    When Jeff says "The damage only looks minor" or "stay out", the crew will not change the wing when set on Auto. You need to change it to Yes to ensure you get your desired wing change.

    yeah i can vouch for this 100%. have tested in career mode to make sure. I always set my wing replacement to yes for this exact reason

    Also we're close to getting the results sorted so hopefully we can move on from this clusterf**k of a track and move on to the Stolen GP round.
