Ok Guys, Regs for this week SPRINT ROUND. RACE 1 : (NO COMPULSORY STOP) 10 Min qual as normal and a 24 lap race. RACE 2 : (NO COMPULSORY STOP) REVERSE GRID RACE 25 laps, with the extra lap (lap 1) to be a formation lap with drivers lining up SINGLE FILE based on results of race 1. - race will start as normal, with all drivers on the grid, HOWEVER, once the lights go green everyone will have to get in the correct order (based on race 1) and run single file, at the speed of the first car, would recommend 80klm. - Lead car to accelerate as normal (race pace) at the exit of the final turn which should reduce the possibility of issues at turn 1. POINTS - Full points race 1 - Half points race 2 - Points are combined over the 2 races to find the overall placings for the round. As always, the reverse grid throws up some tight racing so can only remind drivers to redress if contact is made, and "barging" through wont be looked at favourably. As has been the case in the last round, a 30 second penalty will apply for contact without redressing (where required) OR a point penalty if the 30 seconds doesn't result in an overall penalty. If room captains can MAKE SURE all drivers are on the same page for the reverse grid race, will stop drivers from driving off when the lights go green !

GENERIC DIVISION POST ! Good luck tonight guys, will really test everyone's resolve ! Please be careful lap 1, and also when rejoining the track if you have a spin ! ( i will be having plenty of those) A reminder that race 2 is REVERSE GRID, with an extra lap added as a formation lap in reverse order from race 1. The race STARTS FROM THE FINAL CORNER, CONTROLLED BY THE LEAD CAR. Lead car should be at normal race speed at the apex. If anyone DSC in race 1, they can join for race 2, however must start rear of grid. Stu
What a crap result for me. Race 1 was every bit by my own issues. Race 2 was a disappointment for a few reasons. Not overly impressed all the brake markers deliberately got ran over.. was a bit pathetic whoever done it. I lost alot by that. I also got shunted off on lap 1 turn 2 after i was overly generous thru turn 1 and had to lift massivly off the throttle to avoid running up the back of people. Otherwise some good battles to take away. Chin up and eyes ahead to round 4
Yes was abit cheeky who ever did that. Sucks how they don't reappear for the race. This is exactly why I decided Not to use the brake markers as my brake markers haha, earlier in practice this happened and it completely stuffed me up,
Was actually a good race last night lads......shame about the smallish grid.....we will look at possibly merging div 1 and 2 depending on the next few days.....Stay tuned for that My night, pretty much what i expected, without the spins ! Race 1 i had a great race with TB, i could get past as i changed my gear ratio in the warm up so i had no top speed...idiot ! Anyway, he spun, everyone spun and i managed to get 3rd... Race 2, started 6th, but 3 fell off in turn 2 and then i just tried to keep it clean....CAGME came past and given he was 1 sec a lap faster i wasnt going to get in a fight that we both ended in tears......didnt last long, his sheep came knocking so he left in a hurry !! It's amazing what a little practice can do, last week I was lapped, this week I was doing the lapping. Race 1 got a mint start surprised at how much of lead I had just driving it at a manageable consistent pace around the low 3s everyone else must of spun out a lot. Near the end of the race I picked it up to try get a fast lap in and the tyres were still sweet till the end. Had almost a 50sec lead crazy Race 2 was abit of a sketchy start following people when the brake markers where gone was abit dodgey early hard braking by a few, managed to get a Rythem and pick off my way to the front. Had a 20s lead and spun out got back going again built another 14sec lead till I Got a fright at the end when I saw a car parked in the middle of the chicane did some evasive moves and ended up spinning again just enough gap and managed to win again.. Stoked as first round win for a very long time and only my 2nd win ever in Sunday racing.
Amazed im holding onto 2nd in the div 2 championship atm. After my performance at Sakitto its not deserved. But blimey its tight between the top 6 drivers. Anyone could be at the top after Monza. Better step it up a level me thinks.. What top speeds are people clocking on the main straight
