Following on from the interest thread;
A Monday night series starting on 14 May. The start time will be 8:30pm with track to be selected on the night. Practice room will open at 7:45.
Races will be comprised of a 10m Qualification period with pit-stops leading in to the race. The track will be the one shown when you join the room. If the time on my GT5 screen hits 8:50 and some drivers are still missing, the track will be reset and qualifying will kick off. The number of laps will be based on my lap times + 3 minutes in practice (max 40 minute race, depending on what time Practice ends). You must use 2 different compounds per race minimum. Both front & rear wheels must be the same compound as per the current official race series.
You must start the race on the tyres you qualify on.
Car selections will be as follows:
R1 - Ford GT '06 max PP 650 ended up being 729 BHP
R2 - Shelby Cobra 427 '66 - max BHP 670
R3 - Ferrari round (621 BHP, no race cars or Enzo)
R4 - Pickup (562 BHP NoToyota)
R5 - Lotus (473 BHP, no RM/TC)
R6 - F1 2007 Ferrari (700 BHP)
The track will be selected on the evening of the race. I will post in this thread at approx 5pm on the day how many laps the race will be. I need to finalise my selection of tracks, but some will be reverse. For those where it is possible, time/weather is to be included. For the tracks with time progression/weather, the settings will be set to time progression 2, weather 25%, start time in-game will be 5:30pm. Any track suggestions will be welcomed! The track will be announced in this thread at approx 7:15 on the night of the race.
Tuning restrictions:
No LSD, unless it is there by default in which case it must be set to default settings.
High Range Turbo & Supercharger are not allowed.
Tyre selection is limited to SM, SS, RH or RM only.
Maximum engine modification is Stage 2.
Change your oil to achieve best BHP.
BHP will be as per the non broken-in BHP so everyone will have the same regardless of how much time they have going in (or the next lowest value due to the way the BHP restricter works.
Points will be as per the ROOZ race series' system. Teams are allowed and encouraged but I will need help with how the points system works for teams.
Please fell free to add comments if you think I could make some changes; I am new to this 'arranging a series' thing so this may totally suck but I have to start somehow 
Things I forgot/mis-done and have been changed/added in italics above:
1. Tyres in race - Must use both compounds (was agreed pre-start)
2. I will change the races to BHP based. PP is broken and I should have thought of that from knowing how the TT's go.
3. I will post in this thread at approx 5pm on the day how many laps the race will be. Yes, it may give you an idea on which track it could be, but at least you know something up front
4. Don't forget to do an oil change
5. Track will be announced in this thread 15m prior to my room opening.
