    as for the starting time m8, if i'm not there or drop out just continue as planned, i won't hold a grudge dude...

    and as for the Shelby GT500, GT350, AC (ac is a real hand full and bit of a :):):):):)) or any of the Shelby car i'm in for sure... :D

    I would prefer the '66 Cobra, it was his original foray into tinkering with cars. But then the Series 1 is the only nose to tail Shelby, and no doubt would be a heap easier to drive. Either way I'm easy. I do believe he had a hand in developing the Dodge Viper as well, maybe that's an option?

    Series 1 '03
    GT350R '65
    Cobra 427 '66

    Which one should we use this coming race? Popular choice will determine.

    I choose the Series 1, the 427 is simply a tyre shredder :lol:

    I don't have the Series 1 '03, I've got the GT350R '65 and the Cobra 427 '66.
    If someone can send me a Series 1 '03 I don't mind what we run with.

    i would agree with ya Miss Puss in Race Boots, it would be great way to celebrate Carrol Shelby's Life with the 66' Cobra.
    but i have been thinking that the 66' is one of the trickiest car to get hooked up and drive, as it is always sideways and has very little braking abilities.
    Don't get me wrong i love a good challenge, but it would be a nightmare having a whole field of this bad girls flashing and waving there beautiful arses all over a track. :lol:

    i reckon the '66 cobra is the best way to go... simply for its accesibility otherwise alot of ppl wont have the series one...

    The man was all about taking a simple, low weight car and shoving a crazy engine up front. I vote '66 cobra, stock everything, racing hards/meds to help keep it on the track and Daytona road for the race. Hey Aza I'll send you a Series 1 tonight.

    Cobra 427 with a controller... No drama's mate.. lmao.

    Just doing a few laps, love the car (as a car), but for racing in GT 5 on RM tyres ... it sucks ballzzzzzz. Unless we do an oval track???

    Am out for a few weeks i think guys......tried the old CRT tele today and couldnt get it to work.....even the PS2 wouldnt work on it....Buggered if i know why.......Best to take me out rumbles......will try again next series :(
