@Razorpod50 Ballast System/Standings 1 Championship Point = 1 Kg Ballast (halve your ballast going into the final round - rounded up)
won't make it tonight fellas, something has come up. But I will try and make next week. I want to competitively drive these cars and love em. Good luck tonight
extra points/ballast will not be awarded in between the 2 races tonight. So no need to increase ballast after race 1
I'll struggle to make start of qualifying, coming home from Aus. Open now, will definitely be there for the first race, don't start without me. I'm comin' in HOT!
On paper, this should have been a good track for the Viper, yet no matter what I try in terms of setup, I couldn't get near the GT-Rs even on fresh tyres. Then on worn tyres I honestly didn't even belong on the same track. It's been suggested that it's my setup, but the balance of the car was fine through all phases of the corners, it's a bit twitchy around Tsukuba, but the Viper is like that on soft tyres and high downforce. Race 1 I took it a bit easier, knowing that tyre wear kills this car, even then the front left was on 3 to finish. Race 2, pushed harder trying to defend against the GT-Rs, but as tyre wear kicked in I was an easy dispatch for them, ended up on 2 and nearly getting passed by guys that were more conservative on tyres.
There was a protestable hit on me in race one but I'll let it slide. The one who did it should take notice for the future though that you should redress when you pass someone after contact has sent them off track.
@StigsTC if possible it might be worth a longer look stint wise with the viper for tokyo to ensure a fair fight to finish
My supra chewed its tyres to 2 both races and i bet i wasnt doing your lap times either. Just has not enough power. All cars except for maybe nsx just trundle away on the straights even when in tow. Its gonna be a waste of time next week with the length of the straights.
Sorry for bowing out on you guys tonight, that car is a whole lot harder than I thought to handle!! Hopefully you had a good race still as it looked like great fun. Have to ease my way back onto GT6 after a long stint of F1
Great racing tonight. GTR's seemed to have the measure on constancy of holding pace from start to finish. I only dropped 1.5 seconds from quali pace to the last lap in the Calsonic. Even though my front left was on 2 bars the GTR really didn't feel all that different. I could tell it was a little slower around the right handers by the end but driving flow didn't change. Its rare to have that and it was a pleasure to drive!
Ok emmo i had a look at the replay frame by frame. You went wide on the 1st corner off the line. I held the line into the corner tight . You come back across from out wide onto the line. My bonnet is in line with your door. And im clearly on the drive line. Sorry bud you were clearly outa position. I seen you and thought you would stay wide knowing you had two cars on your arse. i was on line. Sorry mate for any confusion.. I didnt think i was at fault thats why i didnt stop.. Cheers mate
Round 4 Room 1 Results Pole: Apex Race 1 Race 2 Note: Apex used a Calsonic Skyline, Party used a Diablo.
