Well done to @Killercarlcox69 @v8power383 & @Viperzed on their podiums. I totally sucked at this track, so I was probably lucky to get second last! Hopefully I will be more competitive next week, but I wouldn't count on it.
@Kart-No-1 pretty disappointed if you are going to chuck the towel in mate. It wont be the same competing and not beating you. I know it sucks at getting DSC, seems to be a lottery at the moment, good old PSN. Keep on trying surely it must get better soon! Having said that I have just worked out that I am on night shift the next 2 weeks so I won't be racing anyway, so hook in and get some points to prove that you really aren't Pro-States #4 driver.
@freddyp_33 Thanks Mate, might as well do a race report as I didnt think of it last night haha! Was looking to Qualify around the Top 5 but I couldnt see everyone so I decided to re join as I didnt want to risk ruining someone elses race. Ended up in 12th and from there things went well. Jumped 3 spots at the start to 9th then carnage at the first corner between Phark and someone else put me to 5th. Going into Bruxelles Formal Guy and someone selse were nose to tail on the outside so I just dive bombed them and with no contact made got into 3rd with a double overtake! Knowing my tire saving is good, I managed to push to lap 12 on the Softs with my tires still being at 4-5-6-7. I wouldve liked to go a bit further but fuel was looking a bit grim. With only 9 laps to do on Hards, I knew I could push so I took 9 seconds out of v8 and could've challenged for 2nd before Blanchimont spat me out :/ Boring race for me but happy I stayed out of trouble for a podium in just my second race!
I feel for you kart you put a lot of time in and that hurts . Hang in there . So go and pick up the dummy you spat out and hang in there ,lol
thanks for the battle cptnpeach, helped make a very interesting race. ok, fastest lap times & qual positions 1st TFG 2.14.891 Q-7th, 2nd killer 2.15.197 Q-2nd, 3rd phark 2.15.354 Q-4th, 4th v8 2.15.407 Q-1st, 5th crimj 2.15.690 Q-8th, 6th 'brew 2.16.110 Q-11th, 7th cptnp 2.16.114 Q-6th, 8th viper 2.17.012 Q-13th, 9th freddy 2.17.368 Q-10th, 10th web 2.17.772 Q-5th, 11th kev 2.18.481 Q-12th, 12th chrys 220.704 Q-9th d'sc on lap 8, 13th copper 2.30.674 Q-14th not sure if he done more than 1 lap & d'scd, and poor kart Q-3rd and d'scd, no info on cyber though he was on for qual. (didn't bother to try that photo post spot, not very computer savvy -sorry)
I so hate PD right now . I was hoping to take the fight for the championsdhip to killercarl at spa but got disconnected instead. Got dsc'd in qualy twice and when I got back in the race was starting in 30 seconds. All I could see once the lights went out was smoke and cars jumping all over the place, rt was like being inside a pin ball machine. So I didn't ruin someone else's race I decided to pull out. Congrats on another win killer, you will take some beating
Cab77 posted this in the Div 5 thread: On resetting a room if you change a rule like tire wear will do the same as changing a track. Just change the rule back and all good. Maybe we try this instead of a track change @mmm_homebrew
there is many ways to reset a room *change tyre wear rate *turn on damage (if it's turned off) or change it to a higher rate *Change weather or time (if it can be changed ) *change grip from real to low *change slipsteam from real to strong try any of this
So I would think set a room up with Slipstream as Strong then change it back to real. Would not affect the guys that are in there practicing to much.
this week i had planned to open room with comfort hard being the control tyre as any laps done prior to qual would be well below expected lap times meaning the room would NOT NEED to be reset, thus removing the problems encountered when resetting. ...any objections?
