Who's doing 7's? I know a 7 is possible.. I have done a few 8 flats and was .179 up on that... low fuel tho...

Doing one quick lap isn't going to win the race

I think Beau321 jumped on with the boys and was pullin' mid 1.07s on half tank, high 1.07s full tank!! the kid is fast.
consistent 1.08s should be allright @skywalker

And he is old enough to do GT Academy next year too

I can't see that... I actually physically cannot see a mid 7 on half a tank... I think its one of those things ill have to see it to believe it!

Maybe he was drafting someone around the track, maybe. I recon you might see some 7s race day on low fuel.

You mean 1:09.1 on a full tank? Thats a reasonable time I rekon. Best I've done it 1.09.2 on my first lap out, although 8s are probably doable, I just need more skill.

Would be good to have a chat with some of you guys to share what we've found works. Hopefully can join the practice tomorrow night.

Apparently both Groover and Moozer did 7s (on low fuel) Sunday night after the league race

Looks like div 2 is an easier line up than div 3 this season! lol But the challenge is good

Depending who you ask, he may or may not get in still... not the most consistent competition.

Had an Audi driver training course yesterday and I won the motorkana, in a TT RS plus which was heaps of fun.

Do you work for Audi or own one and they do that for there owners,
And don't worry I will make sure you have the skills of a div 1 driver so you have an awesome chance

Alright so, I saw Dan pull out a 1:07.555 on about 5 liters of fuel... So I can't believe Beau did it with half a tank.. It's not possible...

I did pull a 1:07.829 myself last night finally finding some speed! Biggest tip is play with your BB..

Well he did he barely joined long enough to even get it down to half. And it was a 1:07.46X i believe

Maybe he was using RM tyres??

its just impossible to get into the 7s on a full even half a fuel tank best for me is a 18.4

I'm knocking on the door of a 1:07 but with low fuel, probably quarter tank and reasonably fresh tyres...my best is a 1:08.399 which was on half a tank, fresh tyres. Have been 0.4 up during the lap and stuffed the last corner so a 1:07 is there...but I'll be hoping for high 8's and low 9's in the race.

That should be enough... this race will be all about consistency. Making sure you hit those apexs. I think its all to easy to just go in a tad hot and run a little deep, it ends up costing a bit of time and opening the door wide open

I'll be happy with flat 9s all race, as long as I dont bloody spin! lol

Tyre wear is really manageable on this track too. Quite easy to stretch out extra laps without affecting your lap time.
