Well said SPL, pretty close to the mark IMO. For me the whole GT6 franchise just got tired, more so when there became other options i could have a crack at. That said, PCARS has its faults and the one thing that has highlighted no matter what the game, network stability is the backbone of ANY game. The frustration of the GT6 instability was, and still is a major issue, and PCARS it seems isnt immune. The frustration of getting kicked, other drivers getting kicked and lag issues will ruin any game, no matter how good it is in theory.....the frustrations that flow from that, which include waiting for later than scheduled start times, loss of points in league races and contact with other cars through no fault of anyone other than the network are things that test all of our patience more than we would hope..... All that said, i still enjoy the PCARS "game" more than GT6, for no other reason than its fresh, new tracks, new cars and a wider variety of race options.....if they could just fix the pit options during a race, the magnet issue and online stability they would have a near perfect game. It will be interesting to see how well they port AC to the PS4, i think we are all looking for a game that addresses the issues that seem to hit the PS4 and PS3, namely network stability.....as hard as that must be.
