Some nice racing tonight lads. My recap; Started off from 4th position. Held in the train for a couple of laps. One of the lads had a spin so up to 3rd. Found that i had great pace on the first corner and leading up to the second so waited till i was close enough then made my move on the next 2 in consecutive laps. Pitted for new pressured tyres lap 16 and came out in 4th, but knowing the guys ahead had to pit. Got to around lap 20-21 and still had SPL racing infront. Didnt think he had pitted but wasnt sure so pushed hard until he pitted. Then just kept my head down till the chequered flag. Great start to the season from me after a move up in divisions. What an absolute e burger that was ... running as high as 3rd let Spl go by .. so was happy to roll around in 4th til the sun come out... then whoever it was that thought it a good idea to try and accelerate away from an off on the racing line at turn 1 sweeper...... thanks .... well to the podium
@VARDZ and @garyw61 hope I didn't hit you guys during the race. There were times where I had both of you going around the outside and then all of a sudden you were gone (separate incidents)... So not sure if we touched or not...
the off i had next to you late in the race was all me mate... the one on lap 6 or 7 ... don't know who it was was pure ignorance. .. a total lack of awareness of whats going on around them
You never hit me either rano, it was all me. I reckon you were dropping oil on the track though. Everytime I got close to you I spun lol.
I had a reasonable start, went to slot in behind the car infront but got pushed off at turn 1 by the car behind lost a bunch of positions finally rejoined made some spots up then went to go up the inside of a car that was slow and off line more contact and off again. Couldnt do anything about the first bit of contact, the second was questionable probably could have left each other a bit more room. Pitted early got some clean air passed a few cars then had a massive lag hit while following @VARDZ I kept going because it was so laggy I couldnt get the move done cleanly. I was honking along setting PBs passing cars I think I got up to 4th then my piece of G29 disconnected and put me into the wall. Its a shame because with 10 laps to go I think I was still in it which is a first for a while!....
Haha carl i was watching that split after every turn. You were better in the back half and id get the time back round the front half lol. Nooo not ready for div 2 yet. Just moved up to here. See how the season goes.
