lol, i havent even started it yet. my car wasnt run-in, so i was doing that tonight while i wasnt doing much. have you improved on your best lap so far? i did the first 8 turns or so the other night just to see how quick and touchy it was. i only did 8 turns because i spun off haha

also, the maximum horsepower this car gets to is 724HP in case anyone was wondering

So does Arcade mode add to the kms of the car? Just wondering why it's in Arcade Mode......

That's my first lap, and if it gets me inside the top 10, only lap. Was it our choice for this car? I hate driving fast cars at the Ring as it is, but fast cars with no shock absorption is a nightmare. This lap was a tad conservative but no major mistakes (bar the time my car was pointing skywards at 45-degrees :lol. Used my tune found at Lion's Den Performance with rear toe modified to +0.06. Looks like I'm way way way off the pace.

im not even going to mention my time im hopeless at this track. lucky i dont need a seat.

I know what I said about not having another go, then I saw what times everyone else was posting and thought I'd better have another go. :lol: That's the difference between driving safe and having a red hot go. There'd maybe be another second or two in it on a really good run, please don't make me spend the time on achieving a really good run. :?

Great to see so many people getting involved in what is proving to be a fantastic competition. Hopefully we can get Australian GT5 racing on the map with an exciting competition like this and continue to build a great community here at GTleagueOz!

It's also going to be interesting to see what setup the fastest lap setters are using. Good luck to all contestants and looking forward to the competition kicking off and then of course seeing the top 10 battle off!

G'day mate. As soon as the Fanatec CSR is out I'll be looking towards you guys, I currently own a Logitech G25 but need a wheel that can do both GT5 and Forza 4, a quality wheel that is. If I win this racing cockpit, I'll probably let my friend use it who races off a terrible couch (until I get my own house :lol:, especially given what my cat has since done to this chair, wouldn't want it happening to a flash cockpit :shock: ), he recently bought a Fanatec GT2 off you guys. I currently use a home made setup, table and Commodore chair.

Sounds interesting, especially if I was rich and had no job so I'd have all the time I like to devote to racing in two leagues.

I've just purchased a 360 and it came with Forza 3, and I must say the game has a lot more to it than GT5 in terms of cars and stuff, but the racing and racecraft will be better in GT5. I wouldn't say for sure which has better physics, FM3's were surprisingly good by comparison to GT5 I thought. FM4, it stands to reason, will be better, so I'm half expecting a better game than GT5. I still want to be on both though.
