    4 Rounds of (mostly) tough cars, big modifications, and rear-tyre melting.

    Round 1:

    Grand Valley East -
    Race 1. Sukuki Cappuccino '95 RM 128Bhp 590kg. 15 Laps on Spts Hard.
    Race 2. Lotus Elise '96 RM 226Bhp 645kg. 17 Laps on Spts Hard.


    Round 2:

    Madrid -
    Race 1. Acura NSX '91 RM 325Bhp 1100kg. 15 Laps on Spts Soft.
    Race 2. Nissan Silvia Spec-R Aero (S15) '02 RM 433Bhp 1000kg. 14 Laps on Spts Soft.


    Round 3:

    Laguna Seca -
    Race 1. Chevrolet Camaro SS '10 RM 522Bhp 1210kg. 13 Laps on Racing Hard.
    Race 2. Dodge Challenger R/T '70 RM 621Bhp 1260kg. 13 Laps on Racing Hard.


    Round 4:

    Monza -
    Race 1. Chevrolet ZR1 (C6) '09 RM 729Bhp 1100kg. 11 Laps on Racing Soft.
    Race 2. Chevrolet Z06 (C6) '06 RM 828Bhp 1090kg. 13 Laps on Racing Soft.


    So 2 sprint races per round. A different car per race. All are RM cars. 1 hot lap for qual for each race, so try and get on early for some practice. Most importantly this is a fun event with the focus on clean, tight racing. Each race is worth full points. I would like to try and get enough drivers so we can run teams again as per the DTM series.

    Cars can be modded however you wish, as long as they fit the UPDATED bhp specified.

    First Race is Monday the 9th of January. Qual to start at 8pm QLD time/9pm EDST.

    Now, if you're thinking building and tuning 8 cars, then learning the tracks, etc, etc is too hard....don't fear, I'll be doing it on the day of the race. Plus I'm hoping we'll get drivers across all the divisions running in this. And I'm sure fellow drivers will be happy to share their setups if you need help. That's another reason I'd like teams.

    I'll try make myself available for this one. I especially like the team aspect.
    I will have to pull my finger out and earn some GT5 money in order to buy/tune all these cars.

    Just pick a basic color, ie red, blue, etc. There are about 40 different reds & blues. They don't have to be the exact same tone.

    Looks good, and a good foray into my first races with you guys.

    Race # - 6
    Colour - Some shade of blue with white wheels.
    Time - Monday works for me.

    Just noticed I will have a bit of work to do, my Cappa is sitting at 116BHP,never broken it in as with a few others... Edit: I just got another one on my other account as it seemed odd and it gets to 133bhp with same mods, wtf?

    Just to space things out a bit, and because I have no real preference, I have changed my race number. The 40-49 range seems to be popular.

    Is Round 1 this coming Monday 9/1?

    Yep. BTW I did some of the seasonals last night. Picked up around 10mill credits in an hour and a half. If you need some funds to build cars, this would be an option.
